Joelity
My story
Born in Ubon Ratchathani and now calling Bangkok home, Joel, Pojchara Jatupoj (พชระ จาฏุพจน์) has taken quite a scenic route in life. First, studying Architecture at the Khon Kaen University (because who doesn’t want to design cool buildings?), then a Master’s degree at the Chulalongkorn University (because one degree just wasn’t enough), and even learning guitar at Praat Music School (because every designer secretly wants to be a rock star). After graduation, Joel kicked things off by serving coffee at ASA. because even great careers sometimes start with great caffeine. From there, the journey moved into internet and web design companies, mixing creativity with plenty of code. Later, Joel worked as a contractor with UNDP, the United Nations, proving that design skills can help solve bigger problems. Teaching at Thammasat University came next, where sharing knowledge became just as rewarding as learning it. And somewhere in between, Joel also dived into the world of online hotel bookings, Agoda. Because who doesn’t like a job that feels a little like planning vacations?
I'll never make a promise that I can't keep
Most recently, Joel took a new turn by becoming an entrepreneur, opening a small company in the flower business and working with suppliers from the Netherlands. After all those buildings, websites, and hotels, it was time to grow something a little greener.
And when not working, Joel can be found cheering for Liverpool—because you’ll never walk alone, especially with good football.
